Support

If this is a medical emergency, stop reading. Treat it the way your care team told you to and call your local emergency number. We are a small team answering email — we cannot help with anything happening to you right now, and Dia does not monitor you.
Write to us
support@diaapp.co — a real address, read by the people who build Dia. We aim to reply within two business days. If several days go by with nothing, assume the mail went astray and send it again rather than waiting.
From inside the app, Me → Support → Report an issue writes the same email with your app version and device already filled in, which saves a round trip.
What to tell us
The more of this you can include, the better the first reply will be — but send the email even if you have none of it.
- What you expected to happen, and what happened instead.
- Which screen you were on, and what you had just tapped.
- Your iOS version and iPhone model, and the Dia version from the bottom of the Me tab.
- A screenshot, if the problem is something you can see.
Please don’t send us screenshots of your glucose data unless we ask. We can almost always diagnose a problem without seeing your readings, and we would rather not hold them.
Things you can do right now
These need no reply from us, and all of them work whether or not you subscribe.
- Cancel your subscription, or end the free month
- Subscriptions are billed by Apple, not by us, so cancelling happens in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone — or through Me → Profile & subscription → Manage Subscription in Dia, which opens the same Apple screen. We cannot cancel it for you, and neither can deleting the app. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends, or it renews.
- Ask for a refund
- Also Apple’s, at reportaproblem.apple.com. We have no ability to refund an App Store charge, however much we would like to. Tell us what went wrong anyway — it is usually something we can fix.
- Move Dia to a new iPhone
- Install Dia, sign in with the same account, then Me → Profile & subscription → Restore purchase. If you never made an account, your data lived only on the old phone — see below.
- Get your data out
- Me → Data & privacy → Export all data gives you a CSV of every log and reading. This is never locked behind a subscription, and it never will be — data you recorded about your own body is yours whatever your billing status.
- Get a report for your clinic
- Me → Data & privacy → Endocrinologist report builds a 14-day PDF on your phone, with the standard CGM summary your clinic expects. Also never locked.
- Delete everything
- Me → Delete all data, at the bottom of the tab. It is immediate and it is not reversible, so export first if you might want any of it. Your glucose history lives on your phone, so deleting the app removes it too — which is worth knowing before you delete the app expecting to reinstall later.
- Connect a CGM
- Dia reads from Apple Health, Dexcom (via Dexcom Share) and FreeStyle Libre (via LibreLinkUp), under Me → Glucose state. If readings stop arriving, the cause is usually the upstream service rather than Dia — check that the sensor is still reporting in its own app first, then write to us. Dia is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Dexcom or Abbott.
If Dia ever tells you what to do
Dia explains patterns. It is not a medical device, and it is built never to give a dose, a correction, or a treatment instruction. If you see it appear to give one, that is a bug we want to hear about the same day — mail support@diaapp.co with “Medical guardrail” in the subject and we will treat it ahead of everything else.
The full picture of what Dia is and is not is on the Medical Disclaimer.
Privacy requests
To see, correct, export or delete what we hold, the buttons above are faster than we are. For anything they don’t cover — or to exercise a right under GDPR, the UK GDPR or the CCPA — write to support@diaapp.co and we will answer within the time the law gives us. What we collect and what never leaves your phone is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Ideas and missing features
Send them to the same address. Dia is early enough that what people ask for still changes what gets built next, and the requests we hear twice tend to get made.
